The noticers

My mother told me that I wasn't like other children.
I wasn't fond of puzzles or dolls.
I observed the tiniest things in life.
The things that others wouldn't simply waste time thinking about
Like how the child at the doctors office fidgeted with his fingers nervous of a needle, or how the woman at the cafe drank the tea with her teeth to avoid the scolding drink, or how the man at the cashier furrowed his eyebrows because he couldn't understand what the customer wanted.
People told me to move on in life and don't spend time on the little things. But everyone wants to be noticed right?

Defeat

The yellow light illuminated from the street
I left in utter defeat
I couldn't handle the elites
Im sorry for being so obsolete

Quiet

It was like the room was mute
After our boundary dispute
You are a person of repute
Taking over my pursuit
I wish you'd not commute

but everything is so quiet

Weakness

The old beaconed houses held secrets
It kept me up, left me sleepless
The grey sky knows my weakness
My mental thesis

Autumn

I woke up early that morning
The sun's rays peaking behind the suburban houses
The morning breeze dancing through the lace curtains
I pulled the blanket off myself. The air suddenly hitting it causing goosebumps to form on my legs
My heavy head weighed against the feathery pillow.
The mattress soothing my aching muscles on my back.
I lifted my head just to see outside the glass window
Blankets of blood orange leaves covered the sidewalk
Eager for this season to finally come, i jumped out of bed and put on a comfy sweater and boots.
I went to the nearest cafe and got myself a maple cappuccino.
The warmth's of the drink giving me comfort once i stepped out of the shop and into the bookstore. Awaiting the comfy chairs, and a good Lemony Snicket book.

Pressure

All the people who care for me
Telling me who to be
Taking over reality
Please can I just be free

All the hard work I despise
Just for one prize
A letter for my grade
I think I'm going insane.

do your very best,
To beat the rest
To ace that test
No time for rest.

I'm tired of those words
That make me go absurd
And I will be heard
When your opinions will be demurred
